One more accomplishment

I didn't mention it yet, but I bought a permanent account this morning. I've managed to upload my David Hewlett moodtheme, and I've edited my profile a bit. Little by little I'm going to customize this journal, but it's not anything I need fuss about overmuch yet. I'm just going to take my time and work on it when I think about it.

I do need to upload my icons as well, but again, no big hurry, and I really like the icon I'm using as my default.

The one bad thing about the transfer of journal entries from lj is that none of my comments transferred with the posts. That really sucks, especially when it comes to my fic. Oh well, I do have it all backed up to my hard drive so should LJ decide to TOS me for whatever reason, at least it won't all be lost.

Congratulations! (I bought my IJ account two days ago. Here's hoping it works out!)

I didn't bother transferring my old entries—I have a website where I archive my fic, and I've backed up my LJ on my hard drive.

Yeah, except for my fic journal, which I did want to transfer, I probably could have done without the rest. But it was fairly easy, so, what the heck. :)
