Well, I'm here for the duration. Everyone needs to get chatty now. :-)

Hi!
Read your lj post about the snow.
We're getting some that should arrive by the Thursday morning rush hour.
Oh joy!

I don't know how you guys survive winter in Canada. I was in Niagara Falls for about four days around Christmas several years back and I thought my entire brain pan would freeze from the cold wind. Brrrrrrr! :-)

I HATE winter but if I have to be honest, we get off relatively easy in Toronto. We're not in what they call the snow belt although last year was brutal. The year before was great though. We hardly had any snow to speak of and I think I only had to pay three times to have the driveway at Dad's shoveled out.
I sure hope this year will be snow-lite. :)

I just paste almost everything that I post on LJ over here; so far I've been treating it like a backup storage blog!

That's a good idea. I did backup by journals using LJArchive before the big move. It's a shame I bought a permanent account here, and yet seldom use it.

I didn't know there was such a thing as LJArchive -- until I heard people discussing it *after* the big move!

I leasrned about it after the last big LJ flap when TPTB were deleting LJs without notification because they didn't like the content. I didn't figure I had anything too offensive on my lj, but since I write and post NC-17 fanfic I figured rather safe than sorry.

OMG, I just noticed your icon, and you won't believe this, but I had a dream last night about moving a tv into my bathroom! LOL

And I'm totally not addicted to tv. Not at all. ;-)

Some people actually do it. My daughter just moved into a new house, and in the bathroom there's a little table on a swivel, set up so that you could move it around right in front of the toilet. Perfect for a TV -- or a computer!
