Another Wednesday has rolled around

This time next Wednesday, I'll be eagerly looking forward to 5pm, and the start of my mini-vacation. I'm not planning on going anywhere other than a party my oldest brother it throwing on the 24th, and I'm looking forward to lounging around, I hope in warm weather, and just relaxing and reading.

I think I've already read the book I'm currently reading, Stealing Shadows by Kay Hooper. It's not that I really remember it, but it keeps setting off deja vu-ish 'pings' in my brain. So, it's like a book I've never read, except not. Weird.

I thought last night was the finale for NCIS, but it wasn't. So, next week in the finale. Last night was the finale for Fringe and I'm ready for season two now!

And it's back to being cold.

Chilly today. Blech. I'm so ready for warm weather to stick around longer than a day or two. Although to be honest, 800F weather in April (and now May) is way too hot. Can't we have mid-70s until late summer?

Anyway, because it was too chilly to sit outside yesterday, I ended up spending the day finally catching up on a couple of my tv shows I let lie fallow - Heroes and Fringe.

Heroes - I just don't know what to say about the season ender. I neither loved it nor hated it. I'll watch next season - probably much like I did this year: online and several episodes at a time.

As for Fringe, I still have to watch last week's episode and then I'm all caught up so I can watch it in real time. I ♥ Walter thiiiiiiiiiis much. I thought the three episodes I watched last night were really good. Even Olivia was okay. I prefer all the other characters more, but I can live with her.

Today, I want to watch a few episodes of Medium, and then I need to go to a birthday party for the twins; the invitation to which I got in the mail Friday. I have a feeling their mother forgot to send me one earlier. Whatever. Since I only give money, it's not like I had to go scramble for birthday gifts. But it would have been nice to have a little more notice.

Anyway, all the tv watching and birthday party going means I haven't even opened any of the books I took out of the library for this weekend. But I'll probably at least start one tonight after The Amazing Race - the third Alex Delaware novel, Over the Edge.
